Today, Richard Mille debuted the RM 70-01 Tourbillon Alain Prost which is a timepiece designed in collaboration with Prost and other cyclists.

The RM 70-01 features a mechanical odometer with roller counters to calculate total distance traveled over a biking season. Using a pusher at 2 o’clock you can select which of the five digits on you want to access. Then using the pusher at 10 o’clock you can advance the selected digit. And you have to manually add your distance each day. It goes up to 99,999 kilometers.

Cost for such a thing is $815,500 and there will be only 30 made available exclusively at Richard Mille boutique worldwide. If you think the price is high, don’t worry it comes with a bespoke road bike developed by Alain Prost and Richard Mille in partnership with the Italian bikemaker Colnago. Each bike individually numbered bicycles are made by hand and painted in Richard Mille’s signature colors (whatever those are).

If you want to put yourself on blast and blow almost a million dollars on the most ostentatious watch in the room while also having the ability to manually track your cycling miles in kilometers, do it! I mean you have “f-u” money, get two, wear one on each wrist, then you’re really guaranteed to be the loudest in the room.
