After first launching the Prospex Diver SRPD29, an all-black version of the newly redesigned Monster Dive watch, shortly after Seiko followed up with two additional steel versions.

The Prospex Automatic “Monster” Diver SRPD27 comes with a stainless steel case, black sunray dial, and blue rubber strap. The SRPD25 comes with a steel case, blue sunray dial, and stainless steel bracelet. Both versions measure 42.4 mm in diameter and feature the latest generation Monster case, with a solid steel dive bezel treated with a black coating.

Prominent hands, indices, substantial lume, and low entry pricing make Seiko divers a very attractive way into a sporty mechanical watch. With 200 meters of water-resistance, a locking crown, solid caseback, unidirectional dive bezel, and all ISO6425 requirements met, the value is undeniably excellent. And now, with a fresh look. Similarly, the Seiko 5 Sports collection has also been refreshed and announced this summer.

Retail is $495 for the Prospex SRPD27 on a rubber bracelet and $525 for the SRPD25 which comes on a steel bracelet.
