Vacheron Constantin just announced a new timepiece, the Malte Moon Phase and Power Reserve. It features a barrel shaped case that is 39 mm x 49 mm, and is available in either white or pink 18K gold. Inside is a manually wound 22 jewel in-house mechanical movement, Caliber 1410.

The dial comes in either white or pink 18K gold, and features multiple finishes. A silvered finely hand-guilloché “Clous de Paris” is used on the inner part of the dial. The outer area of the dial has a silvered vertical satin-brushed finish. The seconds subdial, at 6 o’clock, has a circular satin-brushed finish. And the minute-circle and power reserve indicators have a screen-printed white finish.

The in-house Vacheron Constantin movement, Caliber 1410, features hours, minutes, small seconds (at 6 o’clock), a power reserve and a precision moon phase function. The manual-wind movement runs at 28,800 vph and features a 40-hour power reserve. Water-resistance in 30 meters.

The strap is available in black or brown hand-stitched, saddle-finish, square-scaled alligator leather. Depending on which case is selected, a folding clasp comes in either 18K white or pink gold, with a polished half Maltese cross. (Ref. 83080/000G-9408 et 83080/000R-9407)
