Introduced in 2011, the Victorinox Alliance is a great watch for those looking for a Swiss made quartz watch on a budget. Presented in a fully polished 40 mm stainless steel case with a black dial contrasting polished applied hour markers, and polished hands – this is a sharp looking watch.

The sapphire crystal is flat and features a triple interior coated anti-reflective treatment that reduces glare, and unlike some exterior treatments, is resistant to scratching (because the entire coating on the inside of the crystal).

Functions include hours, minutes and seconds, with a date display at 6 o’clock. The luminous material has been applied to the hour and minute hands, as well as to the dots around the slanted outer minute ring. Swiss Army’s signature 24-hour military scale is painted in the center for reading military time at a glance. Screw-in case back and screw-in crown ensures water-resistance to 100 meters. Available with black or brown leather strap. The price is $450.
