Visible through the front and rear sapphire crystals, is Armin Strom’s in-house caliber ARM09-S movement, which has a fully skeletonized main plate, gear-train bridges and barrel bridges. In addition, each version’s main plate has 3D-PVD coating that corresponds to its respective element (water, fire, air or earth). The gear train and barrel bridges feature a rhodium or ruthenium treatment depending on which variation you choose. The escape wheel and pallets made of solid gold with hardened functional areas.

The hour and minute track is on a clear sapphire ring, featuring Armin Strom’s signature off-center design. The small seconds indicator, at 9 o’clock, also features a clear ring. Uniquely, the power reserve level is indicated on the left half of the small seconds subsidiary dial, via a red arrow-tipped hand.
