This month, Omega announced a new Seamaster Aqua Terra with a glossy black varnished lacquer dial in three case sizes.

The 2024 Seamster Aqua Terra comes in stainless steel in 34 mm x 12 mm (Ref. 220.10.34.20.01.001), 38 mm x 12.3 mm (Ref. 220.10.38.20.01.004), and 41 mm x 13.4 mm versions (Ref. 220.10.41.21.01.002). Lug-to-lug measurements are 40.5 mm, 45 mm, and 48 mm — and lug width is 16 mm, 19 mm, and 20 mm, respectively.

A sleek jet black dial with dagger-shaped applied diamond-polished white gold hands (boat-shaped on the 34 mm), minimal text, and the date aperture symmetrically located at 6 o’clock give this sporty 150-meter water-resistant timepiece a dressy appearance that can realistically be used in sporty or dressy situations.

Omega designers used the Aqua Terra’s signature white-gold plated arrow-tipped minute and second hands and a dauphine-shaped hour hand to give the watch a classic look, sans the vertical teak motif on existing Aqua Terra models.

Omega’s excellent METAS-certified (adjusted to -0/+4 second per day) anti-magnetic Master Chronometer 3.5Hz automatic caliber 8900 (60-hour power reserve) and 8800 movements (55-hour power reserve) power the three watches — and can be viewed through the caseback.
