Fox Sports’ lead NFL Commentator, Tom Brady, wore a quarter-million dollar plus timepiece while calling the 2025-2026 NFC Championship game.

The Aquanaut Luce Haute Joaillerie (Ref. 5268/461G-001), which is currently available in the Patek Philippe catalog, is a jewel-studded version of one of the Swiss watchmaker’s sportiest timepieces. Presented in a 40.8 mm x 8.1 mm 18K white gold Aquanaut case, with contrasting polished and satin-finishes. This particular reference of the Aquanaut Luce is set with diamonds and blue sapphires on the dial, bezel and case.

Final Thoughts

The Aquanaut Luce watch is an epic timepiece that blends high horology and high jewelery, and perhaps a bit over-the-top — yet it’s a Patek Philippe and executed about as tastefully as possible considering it’s completely set with diamonds and sapphires. Pairing a well-fitted traditional suit with a slightly ostentatious Patek, for one of the final, and most widely viewed NFL games of the year, is a perfect way to wear one of man’s only widely accepted pieces of a jewelry: a timepiece, which in this case is also jewelry. The Los Angeles Rams versus Seattle Seahawks game was a classic, high scoring barn burner, not decided till very end, perhaps adding additional provenance to Brady’s already highly coveted application-only, investment grade timepiece.

Brady wore the Jacob & Co. Caviar Tourbillon to last year to Super Bowl LIX, and with all due respect, that’s a nice watch, but not the same as a Patek Philippe. Brady won’t be calling Super Bowl LX from the booth, however, he stated he’ll be in attendance, so it’ll be interesting to see what’s on his wrist.
