Seiko has teamed up with Japanese watch retailer TiCTAC once again, to create an appealing new off-white dial version of the previous field/explorer watch they did together.

The Seiko x TiCTAC Ref. HZB002J comes with the same 40 mm x 11 mm, 48 mm lug-to-lug stainless steel case, with a 20 mm lug width and a matching stamped stainless steel bracelet.

Featuring cathedral hands and a fixed bezel, the Seiko x TiCTAC’s field watch is 100-meters water-resistant and is powered by Seiko’s industrial 23-jewel automatic caliber 4R35 movement, which has a 41-hour power reserve, stop seconds, and manually winding, powers the hours, minutes, center seconds, and date functions.

As is common at this price point, the watch is adjusted to a precision of -35/+45 second per day, which is not extraordinarily accurate from the factory, and the Hardlex crystal is not as nice as a sapphire, but at a retail price of $350, it’s a great deal for a mechanical watch from a well known brand like Seiko.
