Armin Strom released the Tribute 1 First Edition, with a gray dial, limited to 25 pieces, in June of this year, and is now following up with two new limited editions.

The Tribute 1 continues to offers the exquisite hand finishing of the First Edition, now available in a black or blue dial, and limited to 100 pieces each. Offered in a highly wearable 38 mm x 9 mm stainless steel case, Armin Strom aptly calls the Tribute 1 a “post-modern interpretation of the classic dress watch.”

We went hands-on with the First Edition of the Tribute 1 in August, and up close the details, particularly the frosted grenage dial, and the beveling work on the large gear train bridge. Now, the Biel/Bienne-based manufacture has created two nearly identical versions of the First Edition, with brass used for the barrel bridge on the lower section of the dial (replacing the 18K white gold bridge from the First Edition).

The same manually wound Armin Strom caliber AMW21 used for the First Edition returns with its gorgeous Geneva stripes, hand beveled edges, and long-running 100-hours of power reserve. The 135 component (21-jewel) movement measures 33.5 mm x 4.2 mm and operates at a frequency of 3.5Hz.
