This month, in Japan, Casio will release three new G-Steel variations that are significantly smaller than the previous models.

The all-new G-Steel GST-B600 measures 42.3 mm x 11.4 mm (41.4 mm lug-to-lug), which is 5.2 mm less in diameter, 6.6 mm less in lug-to-lug length, and still remarkably thin. It weighs a scant 60 grams on a rubber strap and 135 grams with a full metal bracelet.

While the existing full-size G-Steel models are not massive (and wear well), these new dimensions will make the watch even more comfortable, and fit more wrists. It’ll likely look even better on your wrist than past models, too.

Starting at an estimated $299 (with a $50 premium for a metal bracelet), the G-Steel is sure to be a hot item in the US when it presumably arrives later this year. The price, size, analog-digital display, solar quartz movement, and Bluetooth time syncing should appeal to a broad range of consumers.

The GST-B600A-1A6JF is 46,200 yen – strap (converts to $307), GST-B600D-1AJF – bracelet 51,700 yen (converts to $342), GST-B600-1AJF – strap 44,000 yen (converts to $292).
