The Christiaan van der Klaauw Planetarium “Julie” showcases timepiece customization at its finest.

Designed for a devoted friend of the brand, this one-of-a-kind Planetarium “Julie” timepiece stands as a tribute to the collector’s young daughter, embodying both personal sentiment and superior craftsmanship.

At the core of this unusual watch lies the planetarium complication, recognized as the smallest mechanical planetarium in the world. It adeptly represents six planets — Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn — following their real-time orbits around the sun in exquisite detail.

The watch’s design process demanded a complete redesign to accommodate the skeletonized theme, featuring masterful hand beveling with 70 inward angles on its bridges. Crafted from titanium, the case features a distinctive, one-of-a-kind meteorite bezel that complements the timepiece’s astronomical nature.
