Tudor has created new versions of its Rolex Explorer-style wristwatch, the Ranger.
Tudor now offers the Ranger in a new “Dune White” domed dial in 39 mm x 12 mm (20 mm lug width) and 36 mm x 11 mm (19 mm lug width) 316L fixed bezel, stainless steel cases, as well as grained, “Matte Black” domed dials in 39 mm and 36 mm.
All four variations come with fully brushed cases, a screw-down crown with the Tudor rose emblem in relief, and offer a water-resistance depth rating of 100 meters.
Featuring clean Explorer-style dials, with printed indices and Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 (black on the Dune White versions and off-white on the Matte Black versions), this three-hander, with no date, is all about legibility.
A 4Hz, 27-jewel, COSC-certified manufacture caliber MT5400 (36 mm) or MT5402 (39 mm) chronometer (not Master Chronometer) movement, equipped with silicon balance springs, variable inertia free sprung balance, with bi-directional winding and stop-seconds for precise time setting, powers the time for up to 70 hours on a full wind.
There’s an option for a fully brushed stainless steel bracelet with three links and a folding clasp with the Tudor “T-fit” safety catch, or a green fabric Nato-style strap with red and beige stripes and buckle.
The 2025 Tudor Ranger (Ref. 79930 or 79950), available in “Dune White” or “Matte Black,” retails for $3,350 in the 36 mm case with a fabric strap, and for $3,700 in the 36 mm case with a bracelet. And for $3,475 in the 39 mm size on a fabric strap, and $3,825 in the 39 mm size on a bracelet.
