The Grand Tourbillon XP Carré d’Or is one of the two collections within the newly founded Ateliers deMonaco brand. Inside is the XP 1-minute Tourbillon automatic bi-directional winding movement. The most unique feature of this watch is the sapphire tourbillon bridge. It allows a nearly unobstructed view of the tourbillon while is rotates, through the opening in the bottom of the dial.

The movement features immaculate finishing, such as a curved chamfered and hand guilloche decoration on the bridges. A hand engraved bi-colored gold 18k rotor. A custom-made hand engraving on the Tourbillon cage.

The 44.3 x 48 mm case is designed around an ultra light titanium core and features 18K gold side panels. It is both brushed and polished, and hand assembled. The front and back both have sapphire crystals and are treated with multi-layered anti-reflective coatings. The case back is hand engraved and secured with 4 gold screws. Water resistance is 30 meters.

The strap has an Ateliers DeMonaco personalized hand-stitched alligator strap with an 18K gold folding buckle, adjustable folding clasp lock finished with curved chamfered edges engraved Ateliers DeMonaco. Each version is limited to 18 pieces worldwide.
