LVMH-owned luxury jeweler and watchmaker has opened a four-story flagship in Beverly Hills.
Bulgari’s Rodeo Drive flagship relocation and expansion results in a 5,834 square feet spread across four floors, with a Roman and Los Angeles architecture style.
The exterior facade is wrapped in 1,100 handcrafted “rosetta” glass motifs, a pattern inspired by the clasp of a 1930s heritage bracelet, designed to capture the California sunlight. The entrance reinterprets the iconic doorway of the historic Via Condotti flagship in Rome.
Bulgari Rodeo Drive’s interior design architecture features Roman-inspired elements such as travertine columns, fluted walls, and a spectacular grand staircase. A handmade gypsum Serpenti detail and the brand’s signature eight-pointed star adorn the main floor ceiling.
A dramatic curtain installation made by Italian glassmaker Venini, comprised of over 1,400 amber and gold-toned glass pieces, encircles the curved staircase, evoking a sunset.
The third floor features an open-air bar area and a rooftop terrace, a first for a Bulgari store in North America, offering views and an elegant space for private events.
On the main floor there’s a selection of fine jewelry, watches, fragrances, and handbags. The mezzanie level features exclusive space for the high jewelry collection, featuring backlit onyx walls and floating display cases. There’s also a private salon and client service areas for jewelry cleaning and on-site repairs.
For a brand that’s associated with Hollywood glamor, this is one of its most important US locations.
