Anyone who has visited The 1916 Company’s Cherry Creek watch and jewelry store in recent years can see it expanding.
This expansion has only accelerated since the store, formerly “Hyde Park Jewelers,” became part of “The 1916 Company” retail merger in November 2023.
Located in Denver’s prestigious Cherry Creek Shopping Center and surrounded by the best name-brand stores, great food, and entertainment options, The 1916 Company is Colorado’s largest dedicated watch store, based in the heart of the state’s strongest shopping district.
Currently, if you’re facing the main multi-brand The 1916 Company entrance, on the left are dedicated (interconnected) Omega, Breitling, and Rolex boutiques, with a Tudor boutique on the right.
Previously, Allen Edmunds, an unrelated high-end shoe store, was also located (lodged) between the Breitling and Rolex entrances. However, despite Allen Edmunds reportedly enjoying its proximity to the high-end customers buying watches and jewelry on both sides of it, a deal was reached for Allen Edmonds to relocate within the mall.
Allen Edmonds now has a larger store, and the continuity between the different mono-brand boutiques that The 1916 Company runs is now complete. As part of the changes, Rolex is now taking over the former Allen Edmonds location, allowing it to double its footprint.
These are all good signs for Rolex, The 1916 Company, Allen Edmonds, and Cherry Creek Shopping Center in general, because they’re bucking general retail and business trends.
While the Rolex monobrand boutique is under construction, Rolex Denver has moved to the adjacent, primary multi-brand part of The 1916 Company for uninterrupted service.
