G-Shock has collaborated with Tokyo-based streetwear brand BlackEyePatch to create a special edition of the DW5610.
The G-Shock x BlackEyePatch DW5610BEP-2 comes in a resin case that measures 43.8 mm x 13.5 mm (48.9 mm lug-to-lug) and features a navy blue and beige colorway, with orange accent colors. With the navy blue resin strap, the total weight of the watch is 52 grams.
The design is based on G-Shock’s iconic square shape and uses an old-school CR2016 battery that’s good for five years. There’s no solar charging or Bluetooth functionality.
You however get a stopwatch, countdown timer, auto calendar, hourly time signals, 12/24-hour formats, and other expected G-Shock functionality including high shock resistance and a 200-meter depth rating.
As is the case with most collaborations, when activated the LED light has a custom message that reads “GENUINE PRODUCT” and “純正商品” (“Genuine Article”). This same message is etched on the caseback.
Retail is $130. Learn more at G-Shock.
