With Actua displays that are twice as bright, more responsive, and offer 10% and 40% more screen area than the Pixel 2 Watch — Google’s latest smartwatch is more useful than ever.

The Google Pixel Watch 3 case is crafted from 100% recycled aluminum with a side button and haptic crown, and comes in two sizes, 41 mm x 12.3 mm and 45 mm x 12.3 mm (weighing  31 grams and 37 grams without a strap).

Both displays offer 320 ppi AMOLED LTPO resolution with DCI-P3 color, up to 2000 nits (peak brightness), 1 nit minimum brightness (AOD), a responsive display with a 1-60Hz refresh rate, and Always-On technology.

Protecting the screen is Custom 3D Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5, and the case is 50 meters water-resistant (under ISO standard 22810:2010) and carries an IP68 rating (with a dust and water protection rating IP68 under IEC standard 60529).

Each model runs on a quad-core Qualcomm SW5100 processor with a Cortex M33 co-processor, 32 GB eMMC flash memory, and 2 GB SDRAM, and uses Google Wear OS 5.0.

Functionally, the Google Pixel 3 offers advanced features such as a Compass, Altimeter, Red and infrared sensors for oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring11, Multipurpose electrical sensors compatible with ECG app12, Multi-path optical heart rate sensor13, 3-axis accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient light sensor, Electrical sensor to measure skin conductance (cEDA) for body response tracking14, Skin temperature sensor15, Barometer, Magnetometer

Connectivity technology includes 4G LTE and UMTS5, Bluetooth® 5.3, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, NFC, Ultra-Wideband6, and GPS (that pulls from GPS, Galileo, Glonass satellites).

Additional features include a 24-hour run-time with Always-On display and up to 36-hour run time in battery saver mode, integration with FitBit and FitBit Premium, the ability to control your Pixel camera from your watch, AI that screens calls you don’t want, holds calls your do want to take, a voice recorder with Google AI integration, control of your Google TV, and the ability to see your Nest Cam feed on your watch.

You need to pair the Pixel Watch 3 with Android phones that run 10.0 or newer. The 45 mm version comes in a matte black case/obsidian strap, polished silver case/porcelain strap, and matte hazel case/hazel strap options, and the 41 mm comes with the same options plus a polished silver case/rose strap option. (Each watch includes small and large straps, for optimal fit.

The retail price is $350 for the 41 mm version and $400 for the 45 mm model.
