Nubeo Black Mamba Watch & Kobe Bryant

Swiss watchmaker, Nubeo, will be introducing the Black Mamba collection, at Baselworld 2009, which begins on Thursday March 26th. They have recruited one of the best basketball players in the world, Kobe Bryant, to promote their new collection. The Nubeo Black Mamba collection's main draw, other than being backed by one of the NBA's best, is its 131 component case. The Black Mamba features a 48 mm case made of titanium treated with DLC. The bezel is ceramic. Rubber is used on the crowns, pushers and strap. Water-resistance is 100 meters. The collection starts at $25,000.

Pre-Baselworld 2009: ETA A08.231 Column-Wheel Chronograph Movement

The Swatch Group's movement division, ETA, in association with Frédéric Piguet, have created a new column-wheel chronograph. The new movement, ETA A08.231, will be unveiled inside a new Longines model, at Baselworld. The cool blue column-wheel is visible through the a cut-out in the back of the movement.

Tissot T-Touch Trekking Black

This is the T-Touch Trekking Black wristwatch which is presented in a 43.3 mm titanium case with PVD coating. It is 30 meters water-resistant. The touch screen crystal is made of sapphire. The strap is rubber with a folding clasp. The movement is an ETA E40.305 quartz. All the functions are, of course, activated by the touch crystal. From that touch screen, you can operate the altimeter, thermometer, barometer, alarm, compass and chronograph.
