Introducing The Newest Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Extra-Thin

March 22, 2013

Introduced in January at SIHH, the Jules Audemars Extra-Thin now comes with a beautiful new silvered guilloché dial. The 18K pink gold case is 41 mm in diameter and a mere 6.7 mm thick with alternating brushed and polished finishes. It is an elegant time only dress watch, with just hours and minutes displayed by pink gold facetted hour markers and hands. The movement is only 2.45 mm thick — it has 36 jewels, 212 total parts a 40-hour power reserve and a frequency of 19,800 (2.75Hz). The bridges are hand finished with Côtes de Genève and the mainplate has perlage (circular graining). The oscillating weight is skeletonized in 22K rose gold, with a brushed finish.

Water resistant to 20 meters. Black “large square scale” shiny black crocodile leather strap with 18K pink gold pin buckle.

As you would expect from a top tier brand like AP, the finishes and workmanship are first rate — making this is a great option for those looking for a classy round dress watch. The price is $26,100. (Ref. 15180OR.OO.A102CR.01)
