The Breguet Type XXII, which was first introduced in stainless steel at Baselworld 2010, will be offered this year in 18K rose gold. Inside, is the caliber 589F, which runs at an extraordinarily high 10Hz (72,000 vph).
Caliber 589F is self-winding chronograph with flyback function and second time-zone. It has 27 jewels, a 40-hour power-reserve, a high frequency silicon escapement, Breguet balance-wheel with regulating screws and a flat silicon balance-spring.
The new 18K rose gold case is 44 mm in diameter, with a fluted caseband, a bi-directional rotating bezel with a 60-minute scale and round-ended horns. The dial is brown, with luminous hands and hour markers. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date, flyback chronograph and second time zone.
Screw-locked crown. Water-resistant to 100 meters. The model comes fitted with an integrated brown leather strap. (Ref. 3880BR/Z2/9XV)
