Omega starts 2022 by launching an uber-expensive $81K Speedmaster Caliber 321 in 18K white gold.

Marking the 65th of the Omega Speedmaster, the circa 1957 CK2915-1 inspired design comes with a full 18K Canopus Gold (white gold) case and bracelet. The case measures 38.6 mm in diameter and features the CK2915-1’s signature straight — not twisted — lugs.

In addition to the movement and throwback case, the  2022 Omega Speedmaster 321 Canopus Gold limited edition has a vintage applied Omega logo, a retro “O” in the Omega logo printed on the deep black onyx dial, and the dot over 90 and a dot diagonal to 70 on the black enamel filled engraved stainless steel tachymeter bezel.

Inside this special 2022 Omega Speedmaster 321 Canopus Gold edition, is the resurrected, modern version of the Lemania-based Omega caliber 321 chronograph movement, which debuted last year inside the Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 “Ed White” Ref. 311.30.40.30.01.001 in 2020. On the caseback, you’ll find a Seahorse design engraved inside the sapphire crystal glass, as an homage to the Speedmaster’s 65th anniversary, along with a blue sapphire for the eye of the Seahorse.

At over eighty thousand dollars, the 2022 Omega Speedmaster 321 Canopus Gold Ref. 311.50.39.30.01.001 is destined to reach only the most wealthy Omega collectors.
