Tissot just announced a new forged carbon version of the PRX Powermatic 80.

The PRX Powermatic 80 Carbon is delivered in a 40.5 mm x 11.2 mm forged carbon case, that features a stainless steel exhibition caseback.

A flat sapphire crystal protects the marbled carbon dial which has applied steel indices and baton-shaped hour and minute hands along with a needle-shaped sweeping center seconds hand. A date window completes the dial at 3 o’clock. A Swiss-made ETA-based Powermatic 80 automatic caliber drives the hours, minutes, seconds, and date, for up to 80-hours when fully wound.

The Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Carbon (Ref. T1379079720100) weighs just 75 grams, is water-resistant to 100 meters, and is paired with a textured quick-release tapered black rubber strap.
