Swiss independent watchmaker Cyrus debuted a new version of its Double Independent Chronograph Evolution (DICE) at Watches and Wonders.

As the name suggests, the Cyrus Klepcys Double Chronograph Lime Carbon watch features double independent chronographs. A new version of the 42 mm x 16.5 mm cushion-shaped grade 5 titanium case comes with a carbon fiber bezel with lime-colored luminescent blended into the material.

Available with either a matching titanium bracelet or a lime green textile strap, the watch has a large wrist presence and more color pop than past models. Though, the groundbreaking automatic caliber CYR718 developed by Jean-François Mojon remains the same.

The 4Hz automatic movement measures 36.00 mm x 11.65 mm, has 443 total components (218 correspond to the chronograph module), 51 total jewels (17 correspond to the chronograph module), a free-sprung balance wheel, a rhodium-plated barrel with snailed ratchet wheel, Cyrus logo and inscription filled with black lacquer. There are two microbeaded black PVD mainplates, the bridges have a gray anthracite NAC galvanic treatment, decorated with embossed sunray pattern with satin and microbeaded finishing, and hand-beveled profiles. Winding the mainspring is an open-worked monobloc rotor with a sunray pattern, engraved with “The Conquest of Innovation” and an open-worked central medallion with Cyrus helix logo in 18K 4N gold. Even with two chronographs, the watch has a maximum power reserve of 55 hours.

Functionally the Klepcys Double Chronograph offers central hours and minutes, small seconds at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter of the double independent chronograph subdial with double hands (lime green and yellow) at 3 o’clock, and double central chronograph second hands (green and yellow). Each chronograph has its own crown (lime green and yellow), on the left and right, respectively, and its own column wheel (lime green and yellow) — and is of the monopusher variety, meaning you control start, stop, and reset functions from a single pusher embedded in the crown.

An engraving “Limited Edition ONE of 50” is seen on each of the 2023 versions (Ref. 539.508.TC.B – Cordura strap and Ref. 539.508.TCM.B – titanium bracelet). Retail is $42,750 and $44,200, respectively.
