Nicolas Bos, currently chief executive officer of Van Cleef & Arpels, will replace Jérôme Lambert as the Richemont Group’s CEO on June 1, 2024.

Compagnie Financière Richemont S.A. (otherwise known as “Richemont”), owns Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Piaget, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin, Watchfinder & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels as well as other watch, jewelry, and luxury brands.

After successfully leading growth at Van Cleef & Arpels, industry veteran Bos will take over as full group CEO (a role that is being reinstated after being removed 8 years ago) meaning all brands in the group will now report to him, as opposed to during Lambert’s tenure, where not all brands reported to him. Lambert will stay on as the group’s COO.

“Building on Richemont’s expanded scale and stronger focus on retail and jewelry, Nicolas will steer the Group through the next phase of its evolution,” said company chairman Johann Rupert. “The re-established CEO role will help streamline decision-making and optimize operational management.”
