Today, Hodinkee debuted its second collaboration with Bamford London and Peanuts.
The “Beagle Scout” GMT Hodinkee Limited Edition features Bamford London GMT 40 mm x 11.7 mm (46.7 mm lug-to-lug) stainless steel cushion-shaped case with a black dial hunter highlights — and Snoopy in a Beagle Scout uniform prominently positioned in the center.
An internal rotating bezel has a 24-hour display that can instantly show whether it’s day or night in a second-time zone. While Snoopy and his paws (hour and minute hands) indicate the local time. In matching “Beagle Scout” regalia, Snoopy’s avian sidekick, Woodstock, circles the dial in a continuous 24-hour flight, operating as the watch’s GMT hand.
This watch follows up the success of the “Bamford x Peanuts “Joe Preppy” GMT Hodinkee Limited Edition that was released earlier this year — and quickly sold out. This second edition references the Beagle Scouts led by Snoopy and features Woodstock and their bird friends.
The timepiece is powered by an outsourced Sellita SW330-2 Automatic GMT with a 56-hour power reserve. Each of the 250 numbered pieces is delivered inside Snoopy’s “doghouse” which is covered in green fabric and features Hodinkee, Bamford London, and Peanuts logos on its sides.
The Bamford x Peanuts “Beagle Scout” GMT Hodinkee Limited Edition comes on a 20 mm lug width dark green Cordura textile strap and is available in a 250-piece limited edition for $1,850, exclusively from the Hodinkee Shop.
