Casio America Inc. is excited to announce the release of the EFSS641TMS1A, a collaboration model inspired by Tom’s, a prestigious Japanese racing team.

This special edition timepiece celebrates Tom’s 50th anniversary and honors the legendary Tom’s Starlet KP47 car, which has a history of winning 20 times since 1974.

As the official tuner for Toyota, Tom’s develops and markets after-parts, and complete cars for Toyota vehicles. Edifice has been supporting Tom’s as an official partner since 2013. The EFSS641TMS1A features a carbon fiber-reinforced resin case, a carbon fiber dial, a sapphire crystal, and a genuine leather band.

The design pays homage to Tom’S KP47 with elements such as the Tom’s “Igeta” sharp mark (#) wheel shape featured in the inset dials, the number “36” printed on the underside of the sapphire crystal at the 36-minute mark, and a purple motif inspired by the “3K-R” special engine cover.

The watch also includes a band loop inspired by the car’s side mirrors, dimensional texture on the band modeled after the car’s B-pillar, and the first TOM’S logo from the 70s for an added nostalgic touch.

This solar-powered watch is stylish and functional. It is packaged in a special box that reflects Tom’s iconic design elements.

Priced at $300, the Edifice (Ref. EFSS641TMS1A) is available now.
