Limited to 15 pieces, this is Laurent Ferrier’s latest dual-time dress watch with a new colorway and is offered in a polished titanium case that measures 41 mm x 12.64 mm (49 mm lug-to-lug).

With a dressy aesthetic, the Classic Traveller Magnetic Green Série Atelier III offers wearers a discrete second-time zone, located at 9 o’clock, and cleverly, operated with correctors located on the left case flank. This display operates as the home or reference time and is connected to the date display at 3.

Local time is read off the centrally mounted “Assegai-shaped” hour and minute hands, which are made of 18K polished white gold and have a curved profile — to match the dial. Speaking of the dial, this Ferrier’s latest hue — magnetic green — rendered with a sunburst finish and finished with drop-shaped applied 18K gold polished hour markers. A circular satin finish on the sloped edge subtly helps to differentiate the dial from the flange.

Flip the Série Atelier over and you’re treated to an unobstructed view of the micro-rotor equipped 3Hz automatic caliber LF230.02 which measures 14 mm x 5.8 mm and consists of 44 jewels, 288 total components and that offers a 72-hour power reserve.

The unidirectional micro-rotor is delivered in red gold and boasts guilloche-work on the surface. Fixed between the mainplate and the bridge the miniature pawl-fitted oscillating weight has a “silent bloc” type shock-absorbing system.

Unique properties such as natural escapement with double direct impulse directly on the balance for each oscillation, and a silicon pallet-lever with self-lubricating properties, thereby enhancing the chronometry — while the finishing of the components is what distinguishes this Laurent Ferrier timepiece from lesser watches.
