The Polaris Chronograph receives a captivating ocean gray dial just in time for summer.

Crafted with a double gradient dial that involves a complex manufacturing process consisting of 35 layers of hand-applied lacquer. Within the central dial, the gradient goes from a light gray in the center to a dark gray on the edges. Then, on the outer dial, the reverse happens, transitions from dark gray to light gray. Twin black counters subtly contrast (small seconds and 30-minute chronograph counters) with the dual gradients. A black tachymeter, on the flange, surrounds the dial and completes the sporty look.

The new ocean gray gradient dial is presented in the existing, well-proportioned Polaris Chronograph case (first introduced in 2018), which measures 42 mm x 13.39 mm, and is made from 316L stainless steel.

At the heart of the Polaris Chronograph lies the 4Hz, 248-component, 35-jewel in-house caliber 761, boasting an impressive power reserve of 65 hours thanks to dual power barrels. This automatic movement ensures reliable accuracy for your daily adventures. With an integrated chronograph, the watch includes a sophisticated mechanism featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch, adding to its performance appeal. Whether you’re timing an event or simply enjoying its aesthetic charm, this timepiece delivers exceptional functionality.

The Polaris Chronograph Double Gradient Ocean Gray is paired with two interchangeable straps made from textured black rubber and a blue-gray canvas (both tapered slightly), allowing you to switch styles effortlessly. Conveniently, each strap is equipped with quick-release spring bars, allowing you to change the straps without needing a tool.

Being a Polaris, the water-resistance is rated to 100 meters, meaning this watch can accompany you on your aquatic adventures without worrying about water entering the case. Applied numerals and indices, skeletonized hour and minute hands, and pill pushers complete the sporty and luxurious aesthetic. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph (Ref. Q9028651) retails for $14,900.
