The Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronograph is now available in a version adorned with a green color theme.

Blancpain soft-launched a new version of the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronograph Flyback Tropical Green on their website this week.

Like the first Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph, released in 2014, the new 2022 features the exact same gray ceramic case that measures 43.6 mm x 15.25 mm, ceramic bezel with ceramic bezel insert, the same Liquidmetal™ hour-markers, and the same automatic caliber F385 which beats at 5Hz and boasts a vertical clutch and column-wheel flyback chronograph.

Over the past 8 years, Blancpain has chosen to keep everything the same except for minor color variations, and changes to the aesthetic of the movement’s oscillating weight. For 2022, the color is “tropical green” and the dial has a gradient that’s lighter in the center and darkens towards the perimeter.

The Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronograph Flyback Tropical Green (Ref. 5200 0153 NABA) has a depth rating of 300 meters and a retail price of $17,200.
