Audemars Piguet’s new Forged Carbon ROO “Bumblebee” features a ceramic bezel and links, and an ultralight case made of carbon fiber that is compressed at high temperatures (forged carbon).

The forged carbon case was exclusively developed and produced by Audemars Piguet and measures 42 mm in diameter. The bezel is ceramic with steel screws and the caseback is made from blackened steel, emblazoned with the Royal Oak Offshore logo. The crown and pushers have been coated with vulcanized rubber.

Inside is AP automatic caliber 3126/3840 which beats at 3Hz, has a 60-hour power reserve, and hand-decorated.

Audemars Piguet’s signature “mega tapestry” motif dial is punctuated by bright yellow Arabic numerals, subdial markings, tachymeter on the flange, and chronograph seconds hand. Standard baton-shaped hands display hours and minutes. The hour and minute hands and hour markers are luminescent.

The Forged Carbon Royal Oak Offshore “Bumblebee” comes with a black Hornback leather strap with contrasting yellow stitching and a black folding clasp. Water-resistance is 100 meters. (Ref. 26176FO.OO.D101CR.01)
