G-Shock recently released a copper-plated stainless steel version of its popular G-Steel GSTB400 series (Ref. GST-B400MV-5A) — available in the Japanese domestic market — similar to the carbon fiber bezel variations we reported last month.

While we could not confirm if US availability is planned, or if other Asian and European markets are receiving the new G-Steel in copper, we do know of other new styles headed to North America, that we can talk about in the near future.

If you must have this new model, there are already a number of sales listings on Japanese sites, as well as on eBay domestically.

As the choices for the refined G-Steel collection continue to increase, it’s becoming apparent that within the vast Casio catalog — this is likely one of the company’s bestsellers. As always, we’ll keep you updated with what’s happening at Casio, G-Shock, and the best models to keep an eye out for.

The retail price is $390.
