Greubel Forsey is currently undergoing a major expansion of its La Chaux-de-Fonds manufacture — to increase its watchmaking capacity.

In 2022, the company, which sells top-of-the-line six and seven-figure wristwatches, finished to the most exacting standards in the industry, created and delivered 181 timepieces.

The expansion, which is expected to cost $20 million and be completed by 2026, will nearly triple the square footage of the current facility, with the result being approximately 58,770 square feet dedicated to enhancing and increasing R&D, manufacturing, and administrative facilities, as well as VIP services.

With the new facilities, the output of 181 timepieces is expected to increase, though it will still remain well under 1,000 timepieces.
