Today, Bulgari unveiled the Diagono Ultranero Chronograph. The 42 mm timepiece comes in a steel case that has a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment which is black, and that protects against scratches. Four variations are available: neutral accents, red accents, yellow accents and 18K pink gold accents and with a solid pink gold bezel.

The Ultranero is powered by what Bulgari calls a “caliber B130,” that is presumably an ETA or Sellita. It beats at 4Hz and has a 42-hour power reserve. The hour and minute hands are sword-shaped and feature luminous treatment. The applied indexes also feature a luminous treatment, except the Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock. Functions include hours, minutes, chronograph and date.

Most of the surfaces have a matte or satin-brushed finish, with polished accents on the crown, pushers, and lug ends. The signature “Bulgari” text is engraved on the bezel. All models come on a rubber strap reinforced by satin-brushed steel inserts. Water-resistance is 100 meters.
