Swiss watch brand, Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps (MCT), will introduce the Sequential Two S200 at Baselworld 2014. The Sequential Two is their first round watch and is powered by the same movement as the original Sequential One (comes in a square case).

The dial features MCT’s distinctive display which consists of four modules that represent the hours and central minutes. Basically, there are three numbers in each quadrant of the dial, each composed of five prisms. As the minute hand rotates the dial in a clockwise direction, each new hour is shown in the next quadrant, which changes in a counter-clockwise direction, while the semi-circle central ring moves to coincide with the current hour that is shown in the opening.

The movement was developed in-house and features 507 components, 85 of which are jewels, a rate of 2.5Hz, a 40-hour power reserve, 18K gold micro-rotor, hand-polished bevels and Geneva stripes.

The case consists of 43 components, measures 44.6 mm by 14.5 mm and comes in either 18K red or white gold. Uniquely, in addition to the sapphire crystals on the front (double anti-reflective) and back (anti-reflective coating), there is also a sapphire crystal inset around the case band.

The MCT Sequential Two comes on a double hand-stitched alligator leather strap with an anti-allergy inner lining and with an 18K gold and titanium double folding clasp. Water resistance is 30 meters. (Ref. S200)
