At the Watches & Wonders trade show that took place last week in Hong Kong, Vacheron Constantin released a one-of-a-kind ultra-complicated timepiece called the Maître Cabinotier Astronomica.
To fit 15 complications, the movement and prerequisite case needed to be quite substantial (47 mm by 19.1 mm). The movement, caliber 2755-B1, consists of 839 components (42-jewels), with a 58-hour power reserve and an oscillation rate of 2.5Hz. And the complications are as follows:

- Leap year indicator
- Power reserve
- Equation of time
- Sunrise time
- Sunset time

The 18K white gold Maître Cabinotier Astronomica is delivered with a corrector pen, a magnifying glass, and a resonator of sound “La Musique du Temps”, enhancing the sound and the harmony notes of the Vacheron Constantin minute repeater. The winder box is made of Makassar wood. Comes on a black alligator leather strap with a matching white gold triple folding clasp. (Ref. 80174/000G-9995)
