At the Watches & Wonders trade show that took place last week in Hong Kong, Vacheron Constantin released a one of kind ultra complicated timepiece called the Maître Cabinotier Astronomica.

To fit 15 complications, the movement and prerequisite case, needed to be quite substantial (47 mm by 19.1 mm). The movement, caliber 2755-B1, consists of 839 components (42-jewels), with a 58-hour power reserve and an oscillation rate of 2.5Hz. And the complications are as follows:

  3. Perpetual calendar
  4. Date
  5. Day of the week
  6. Month
  7. Leap year indicator
  8. Power reserve
  9. Equation of time
  10. Sunrise time
  11. Sunset time
  12. Skychart
  13. Age and phases of the moon
  14. Sidereal hours and minutes
  15. Seasons, zodiac signs

The 18K white gold Maître Cabinotier Astronomica is delivered with a corrector pen, a magnifying glass and a resonator of sound “La Musique du Temps” enhancing the sound and the harmony notes of Vacheron Constantin minute repeater.
