The specific model that Reeves bought for his stunt crew is the stainless steel Rolex “Submariner Date” Ref. 126610LN, which has the highly recognizable date cyclops magnifier over the date aperture at 3 o’clock, and a retail price that’s slightly higher than the Rolex “Submariner” without a date.
Featuring Rolex’s Oystersteel, which is 904L stainless steel, the current 41 mm Rolex Submariner Date (Ref. 126610LN) was released in 2020. All stainless steel Rolex Professional models, such as the Submariner, Oyster Perpetual, Explorer, GMT-Master II, and Daytona are currently distributed in a way where you cannot walk into a Rolex store and just buy one unless you have a very good connection or past buying history with an Authorized Rolex Dealer.
