August 1st is National Swiss Day, and the Swatch group has created a unique seconds for its Mission to the Moon Moonshine Gold watch as an homage.

Like the prior Moonshine Gold seconds hand watches (five were introduced prior to today), this MoonSwatch has a gold-plated seconds hand that was made exclusively during a full moon (in this case in July 2023).

The MoonSwatch Mission to Moonshine Gold “Swiss Lantern” has a red Swiss lantern pattern painted on top of the gold center chronograph seconds hand, commemorating National Swiss Day.

The watch launches tomorrow at Swatch locations worldwide, for a retail price of $300.
