Watch customizer, AET Remould has created the unthinkable: a Rolex fitted with a custom-made synthetic sapphire crystal watch case.

The bespoke watchmaker chose the most popular model within the Rolex collection — the Daytona — no less.

While the 40 mm dimensions of the iconic Rolex Daytona were maintained, and the venerable caliber 4130 chronograph movement has been retained, along with the locking pushers and crown — a number of additional customizations were required.

In addition to the case, the bezel, the entire caseback, and the dial were given the sapphire crystal treatment. Colorful artistic details — a signature of the AET Remound — adorn the rotor, subdials, and chapter ring. Each watch is fitted with an integrated rubber strap.

This particular variation of the Sapphire Rolex Daytona by AET is limited to 5 pieces and carries a retail price of $84,900.
