Created in collaboration with Spike Lee, Artisans de Genève takes a factory Rolex Daytona Ref. 116520 and customizes the dial, case, and strap.

The Cool Hand Brooklyn Skeleton Rolex Daytona retains its signature 40 mm diameter case and venerable 4130 caliber chronograph movement, but many elements have been changed to make each piece one-of-a-kind.

Modifications include a new blue ceramic bezel insert, new screwed pushers and crown, with an orange vulcanized ring set in the bezel. A new screwed caseback has been given a matte finish and laser engraved.

The dial has been redesigned with an openworked layout with a blue seconds track, applied rose gold hour markers, and matching blue sub-dials with orange accents. Even the hands are new, with a Dauphine shape and rose gold plating.

Like the dial, the movement has been retrofitted, with the components being skeletonized, and decorated far beyond the level that the movement leaves the factory at, with hand beveling, along with sandblasted surface and circular graining. The main components have been given either a blue PVD or rose gold treatment. And the skeletonized rotor, made of tungsten, has been PVD plated in dark blue, with a rose gold inscription BKLYN in the center.

The factory sapphire crystal, gaskets, depth rating of 100 meters, and movement specifications have all been maintained. This special edition comes with the factory stainless steel Oyster bracelet plus a custom-made orange vulcanized rubber strap with velcro closure.

Being that these are bespoke timepieces, the price varies based on exact client customizations.
