The super-affordable Marlin mechanical watch from Timex is now available as a blackout limited edition that’s available exclusively from Todd Snyder.

Like the previous iteration, the case is stainless steel and measures 34 mm x 10 mm. It’s a time-only watch with central hours, minutes, and seconds which are powered by a hand-wound mechanical movement.

Timex Marlin Blackout Todd Snyder

Based on a Timex watch from the 1960s, the modern version of the Marlin is becoming somewhat of a watch enthusiast’s go-to mechanical dress watch in the $200 price range. You really cannot find much comparable in this price range, with a mechanical movement, from such a well-known brand.

The polished Sword-shaped hands match the shiny case and contrast the curved black sunburst dial – that’s paired with a black dress strap – resulting in a simple watch that works well with a dressier look. The Marlin Blackout Todd Snyder retails for $199.
