Zenith extends their partnership with Range Rover, which dates back to 2016, with the debut of the Defy Classic Range Rover Special Edition.
Presented in a 41 mm x 10.75 mm brushed titanium angular-shaped Defy case with an openwork dial and Elite skeleton movement, the watch is resolutely contemporary just like the Range Rover with which it’s paired.
Driving hours, minutes, central seconds, and date, the automatic movement (Elite caliber 670SK) features a silicon escape wheel and lever, oscillates at 4Hz, consists of 187 components (27 jewels), and has a 50-hour power reserve.
The Defy Classic Range Rover comes on a black rubber strap with a tire tread design and titanium folding clasp. Water-resistance is 100 meters. Limited edition of 200 units.
This is a partnership with Range Rover, and for this watch specifically, the new Evoque, which is a compact luxury utility vehicle, inspired the 200-piece limited edition Defy model. In addition to the tire tread strap, the special blue used for the central second hand and star-shaped oscillating weight, the most prominent tie-in is the dial which is skeletonized in the exact pattern of the top of the line Range Rover Evoque’s wheels.
The retail price is $7,500.
