Designa Individual is a German-based company that customizes watches and phones and they’ve recently unveiled a new version of The Black Grail 5711, now in full carbon fiber.

Last year, Designa Individual (DiW) debuted a five-piece Nautilus 5711 called The Black Grail. The 2021 edition has a bracelet and bezel crafted from forged carbon, resulting in more than 30 grams being reduced from the total weight compared to a factory 5711.

The 2022 Designa Individual Black Grail Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 Carbon Fiber has gone the full carbon fiber route and now comes with not just a forged carbon bracelet and bezel but also the middle case and lugs have been given the full forged carbon treatment. The weight is not provided but this is presumably at least 20 grams lighter than the 2021 partial forged carbon edition.

Patek Philippe’s caliber 324 C still powers the hours, minutes, center seconds, and date — and the case measures 40 mm, just like factory Nautilus 5711s. Everything else appears to be similar to the 2021 edition — including the blackened hands and indices — except they’ve also swtiched to a blue dial instead of black. In the photo, the dial appears to have a vertical gradient, although that could simply be a result of how the image was lit when photographed.

The approximate retail price is $225,000.
