Baume & Mercier introduced the Capeland Flyback Chronograph collection last year at SIHH. Next month, at SIHH 2012, they will introduce a new vintage inspired Capeland.

Aesthetically, the new Capeland has been redesigned with an all new two register layout, as opposed to three registers in last year’s collection; and a new vintage inspired dial, including gilt Breguet style hands.

Functionally, the Capeland is virtually the same as the 2011 model. Available in either a stainless steel or 18k red gold case that measures 44 mm in diameter and 16.5 mm thick. Inside, is a La Joux-Perret automatic bi-compax chronograph movement with flyback and date. The movement runs at 28,800 vph (4Hz), has 27 jewels and a power-reserve of 48-hours.
