Swiss made, manually wound, 19,800 vph, 17 jewels. Produced by group of watchmakers: Heuer/Breitling/Hamilton/Dubois Depraz. At the time is was designed to compete against Movado/Zenith, who were producing the El Primero. The Caliber 11 is said to have been unveiled over a month before the 1969 Basel Fair, which is when Zenith/Movado introduced the El Primero movement. The Caliber 11 is regarded as the first automatic chronograph.
