This week G-Shock announced a collaborative timepiece with HUF as part of the San Fransico-based skate and streetwear brand’s 20th Anniversary.
Although the skate company that was founded by Kieth Hufnagel no longer makes skate shoes, they still make skate and streetwear apparel, and this collaboration will certainly be a popular one — combining the brand’s 20th anniversary with one of G-Shock’s most popular collections, the GA-2100, aka “CasiOak.”
The HUF x G-Shock 20th Anniversary GA2100HUF-5A features a matte skeleton bezel and a translucent case paired with a two-piece cognac brown classic G-Shock strap made from a textile material with reinforced holes and HUF on the end of the long side. Most notably, the dial has been styled in green and orange, the iconic colors of HUF. The caseback is laser engraved with the HUF 20th Anniversary logo and each watch comes in a special lime green box emblazoned with the HUF logo and bird eyes grid view of the San Fransico cityscape.

In addition to the aforementioned design elements made especially for this limited edition release, the digital display on the dial has been given a black on a lime green background — which completes this excellent collaborative design.
The GA2100HUF-5A comes in a translucent resin case measuring 45.4 × 11.8 mm and features G-Shock’s standard technology, which includes high shock resistance, water resistance down to 200 meters, a double LED light, 5 daily alarms, and 1/100th of a second stopwatch, a full calendar, a world time function, and a countdown timer. It also includes G-Shock’s Carbon Core Guard structure which consists of a carbon fiber reinforced resin case for the ultimate in shock resistance.
Available for sale starting on July 21st, 2022, the HUF x G-Shock GA2100HUF-5A watch, which arrives in collectable, one-of-a-kind packaging inspired by San Francisco’s city blocks, will retail for $140 USD and be available for purchase at the G-Shock Soho Store as well as through G-Shock’s website, HUF’s website, all flagship stores, and select HUF retailers partners.
