Swatch Group launched it’s most luxurious MoonSwatch yet.

The Mission To The Moon 1969 Limited Edition features a black Bioceramic case that measures 42 mm x 13.25 mm and is powered by the existing Swiss quartz movement, and is limited to just 1,969 numbered pieces.

Each purchase requires an application, that consists of 32 questions, and you have until July 21, 2026 to apply.

Adding to the intrigue, as you might have noticed, the watch is decked out in real 18K rose gold. As an homage to the famous 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing, the amount of 18K gold is 11 grams. However, instead of charging the $1,073 (based on 18K gold price of $97.56 per gram as of today), Swatch based the price gold as though it was 1969, resulting in a watch costing just $570, despite the true cost being far more than that, just based on the gold weight alone.

Looks luxurious, and the melt weight is worth more than the watch, so it’s safe to say the Mission To The Moon 1969 Limited Editions (Ref. SSX01B700) will all sell with no problem.
