Charles Girarider has created a one-off timepiece that pays homage to the famous artwork of the late Jackson Pollock, made for the upcoming Only Watch 2021 charity auction. The timepiece comes in a 41 mm 18K 5N pink gold case and features a dial produced using what the company calls a new technique of “fusion enameling,” that the designer used to create a look akin to a Jackson Pollock painting. In addition to a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock, the one-of-a-kind Charles Girardier Only Watch Tribute to Jackson Pollock has an area at 12 o’clock where a monogram can be customized to the buyer’s preference.

Presented in a CARBONOX™ case — a lightweight carbon fiber-based material — the Luminox Master Carbon Seal Automatic Automatic 3869 Limited Edition measures 45 mm and is powered by a Sellita SW220 automatic mechanical movement that drives the hours, minutes, seconds, and the day/date. The watch is rugged and durable thanks to the carbon-fiber alloy case and its stainless steel bezel and caseback. A sapphire crystal protects the deep orange-red dial and the depth rating of 200 meters. The company’s patented lighting tubes have been integrated onto the hands and indices to provide long glowing illumination in any lighting conditions. $1,175
