Omega’s latest Olympic watch, the Seamaster Diver 300M “Beijing 2022” Special Edition, comes in a 42 mm x 14 mm stainless steel case with a grade 5 titanium unidirectional dive bezel. The ceramic blue sunray dial features Omega’s signature laser-engraved pattern and applied indices, four of which are subtly accented with Olympic flag colors (at 2, 4, 8, and 10 o’clock). Skeletonized hour and minute hands, and a lollipop seconds hand, display the time, powered by Omega’s caliber 8800 master chronometer movement. The dive watch has a screw-down crown, commemorative Bejing Olympics solid screw-in caseback, a helium escape valve, and a water-resistance rating of 300 meters. $6,100

Girard-Perregaux Quasar Infrared

Girard-Perregaux made a pièce unique called the Quasar Infrared which features a sapphire crystal watch case that measures 46 mm x 15.25 mm and houses a tourbillon regulated movement that’s fully visible from every angle – front, back, and from the side. The company’s trademark three-bridges can be seen, transparently, on the dial side, with the tourbillon rotating every 60 seconds, prominently at 6 o’clock. $238,000

Longines Avigation BigEye Titanium

Last week, Longines debuted the Avigation BigEye Titanium in a new variation that follows up the re-edition that first came out in 2017. The watch comes in a 41 mm titanium case with oversized pump pushers and a new matte “knock-down” textured blue to black gradient dial that fades from lighter in the center to darker on the perimeter. $3,900 

Czapek Cracovie

Independent watchmaker Czapek introduced the Faubourg de Cracovie Océan d’Or this week, which comes in a 41.5 mm 5N rose gold or 2N yellow gold case (as pictured). A bespoke 5Hz movement (made for Czapek) has diamond-blasted anthracite bridges, a column-wheel with a vertical clutch chronograph, and a 65-hour power reserve. The dial features the company’s résonance guilloché, which has a highly unique pattern and is topped with a box-type sapphire crystal. $52,000
