The Oakley Judge Stealth Black features aggressive styling, a mirrored black steel case, and stopwatch functionality.
This chronograph design features a single subdial for the minutes and hours, plus a sweeping second hand that accelerates to the current moment when stop is released.
On the dial, the indications include hours, minutes, panorama date, and 12-hour chronograph with hours, minute, seconds. Distinctive blade-shaped hands add to the wavy case and bracelet design and give the watch an Oakley-esque look. The big Oakley “O” emblem is stamped at 12 o’clock.
Oakley crafts the unique surgical stainless steel case and bracelet using CNC machines in-house. A “stealth black” polished PVD treatment provides a shiny black finish, that’s highly resistant to scratching. An anti-reflective coating helps eliminate glare from the pure sapphire crystal. This edition of the Judge features an impact-forged stainless steel bracelet with the flexibility and fit of micro-adjustment links.
The movement is an outsourced Swiss Made 10-jewel quartz movement with a 48-month battery. A double-sealed crown, as well as gaskets around crystal and caseback, ensure water-resistance to 100 meters.
Retail is $650.
